This is not your typical level crossing, it has a rather odd and unique setup so I wanted to film it. This is a private crossing located about half way along the Wongawilli Colliery branch line. The crossing provides access from West Dapto Rd to a private property at Horsley NSW, Australia. There are two other private crossings nearby which have the same setup. I'm not sure when the signals were installed, but remember first seeing them in the early 1990's. There is only one mast and instead of the usual flashing lights there are two red beacon lights. There is also a blue strobe light on top of the mast but it didn't activate with the crossing, it could possibly be to alert of an equipment failure. There are back-to-back crossbucks installed incorrectly on the mast, they are meant to r...

The world's greatest soccer player or football star stepped off his chartered private plane Monday lunch time ahead of next week's friendly with Brazil. The Spanish superstar is in Melbourne for Argentina's match with Brazil as a late inclusion for Neymar who is a late out. Messi's Gulfstream 5 took off from Beijing in the early hours of Monday morning and hit Australian soil around 12.30pm. The pilot of Messi's $50 million jet did his best to avoid cameras, parking in between a refueling truck and another plane at Melbourne's jet base. Two white Kia's then escorted Messi, his son and his father from the tarmac to his city hotel. Check out #15Minutesoffame 's #exclusive vision

This is a private level crossing at Braunstone, situated south of Grafton on the North Coast of NSW, Australia. The crossing provides access to a nearby property from the main road (Orara Way) and is located near the northern end of the Braunstone passing loop, 684.520 km from Sydney. The crossing was installed in August 2007 and the signals were a prototype for a low cost level crossing protection system, primarily for crossings where full active protection (lights, bells, gates) was not warranted. Each signal has a crossbuck and stop sign, with two green lights facing towards the opposite side of the crossing. Train detection is provided by the existing track circuits, and normally the green lights are illuminated when no train is approaching. When a train approaches the level crossing ...

This is a private level crossing at Harden NSW, Australia. It is about 500 metres east from Harden Railway Station, on the main line between Sydney and Melbourne. The crossing provides access from Burley Griffin Way to a private property and does not have a street name as such. These unusual signals were installed in May 2007, prior to this the crossing had no protection, just an access gate. Each signal has a Western Cullen Hayes base, with a crossbuck and stop sign mounted near the top of the mast along with a "2 Tracks" sign. Below the signs are two pairs of red lights (maker unknown) mounted side by side on a Westinghouse cross-arm. Each pair of red lights indicates the track on which the train is approaching, either the near track or the far track. The crossing has no bells or alarm...

This is the private crossing at Marley Place, Unanderra NSW (near Wollongong). The crossing is at the entrance to the BlueScope Steel Warehouse Facility, formerly the Stainless Steel Products Division. Like the previous video from Cordeaux Heights, this crossing is on the private branch line which runs from the Port Kembla Steelworks to the Dendrobium Coal Mine near Mount Kembla. This crossing and the one at Cordeaux Heights are the only two crossings on the line to have signals. This rather odd crossing looks as though it was thrown together with leftover parts. The crossing originally had gates and was "downgraded" to lights only in the early 1990's. One of the original 5 inch masts still remains, which looks out of place for a lights only setup. All of the lights are Alstom LED's mou...

ROADTRIP from Perth to Margaret River. We visited Wyadup beach, which is a really nice place if you like high waves and private beaches. We also visited Hamelyn Bay and Margaret River. On our way back we wanted to go to Serpentine waterfalls but we ended up arriving there too late so we went to the dam. REALLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS!!
